Ms. Kavita Gupta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Education and Psychology at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara (Gujarat) since 2019 to Present. She is Pursuing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Sardar Patel University, Anand (Gujarat). Besides, she has her Doctoral thesis on ‘Quality of Life in Cancer Patients undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy’. She is working with the university students targeting their Personal, Emotional, Psychological problems and enhancement of their mental health and well-being.
Her area of interest includes Positive Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Psychology, Research Methodology, Educational Psychology. She is dedicating to serving undergraduate, postgraduate and PG Diploma students. She further hopes to apply the knowledge and skills garnered from her various disciplines towards improving the welfare and happiness of people of the world. Her research findings have been published as 20+ research papers and 7 chapters in edited book in national and international referred/indexed journals and presented 6 research papers at National and International confererences.
She is also one of the Editorial Team members in SquarePetals webzine and published many poems and articles in the webzine. Her hobbies include Painting, Sculpture making, Writing Poems & Articles, Making stuff toys
